I am just researching solutions for video editing while travelling and came across LumaFusion.

The ability for me to map trace is very important, and I wondered if LumaFusion could do this? This is the exact thing I want to do:

Hello adam32

interesting

The short answer is no. Or at least a half no. LumaFusion can 'pan and scan' a graphic (in your case a map). But there isn't any feature that allows you to draw a line.

anyone else on the forum got any ideas how to achieve this?

What a technique like this work in lumaFusion using transitions. If you go to 4 minutes on this video, you will see what I mean:

hello adam32

we do support still images with alpha channels and we do have wipes.

Why not give it a go?

Let us know how you get on

I wouldn't have thought of the wipe idea. Clever.
I don't know anything about them but would this also be possible using an animation app?
