I think my Mavic Pro recorded at 24 or 25 FPS and I edited in 30 FPS.

Here is the video. Slow motion is at :0037, :0057, :0213 - You can see it's a bit jerky.

For videos of this nature what do you suggest recording in?

Hi Pagemakers

Bearing in mind the original FPS that’s about as smooth as I would expect from my drone at 24/25 fps for the reasons that Androu gave

I see the Mavic can shoot at:

Sensor 1/2.3” (CMOS), Effective pixels:12.35 M (Total pixels:12.71M)
Video Recording Modes C4K: 4096×2160 24p 4K: 3840×2160 24/25/30p 2.7K: 2720x1530 24/25/30p FHD: 1920×1080 24/25/30/48/50/60/96p HD: 1280×720 24/25/30/48/50/60/120p

If it was me I would probably go for FHD 1920x1080/60

In order to get the faster frame rates you’re going to have to sacrifice resolution unfortunately

The way round it is to give me your Mavic and buy an Inspire :D :D

The Mavic is a great machine (I’ve only got a P3S) but at the moment 4K stable flying cameras are v e r y expensive

Having said all of that I liked your video and wouldn’t have been too upset if I’d done it myself

(PS should you be flying there :D :D :D :D)

Thanks for all the tips. I'll give it a go on my next excursion!

Great thing about the Mavic is it's so transportable.

That was my first real outing with it. I'm also a drone novis.

Edited with Luma Fusion on the flight home. Again my first outing with the software. Love it but badly missing a user manual (I realise one is in development).

Thanks again for the advice.

Hello all

I'm not an expert on the rules and regs for flying a drone in the states, but here is a website that lays it out for everyone.

Safe flying
