Hi Team, as I'm in the uk, we use the standard 25fps however as the iPhone shoots in 30, when I'm editing should I use 30 fps in startup or switch to 25 fps?

Hi rebooter

Pick the frame rate closest to the majority of your clips for smoothest results ... so 30fps

You can of course change to 25 fps (and export at 25 fps), but as knobbydave mentions it will drop frames so it may not be perfectly smooth. I might recommend that you try out a different camera app like Filmic Pro that allows capturing at different frame rates (including 25 fps)

Superb- thanks guys, I use FilmMaker Pro for some animated titles, and that allows you to shoot in 25fps so I'll try that.
