Hi!
How do I add overlay effects like smoke, lightning, gunshot flare etc?

Best regards / DrHans

Hi DrHans,

We do support import of images with alpha channel (.png files) that you can simply add to overlay tracks, however we currently don't have support for video files with alpha. We are however, planning a way to support videos with separate alpha files in the future.

Thanks!

Does that mean that I just can add still images and not moving effects like smoke and fire for example?

Sorry new at this :D

Best regards / DrHans

Hi DrHans

You are correct - at the moment - you can only add a still image with an alpha channel as an overlay

But

You can then move that image around and resize it etc over a length of time by using key framing

Have a look at Epic Tutorials

http://bit.ly/FusionTuts

No 20 for some key framing info if you don't know how to do it
