Hi there,

I'm having trouble adding titles and intro music to my project. I've spent some considerable time editing my video and now I want to add the opening titles and music, but it won't let me without pushing the edited video/ audio out of sync. Is there av way I can select all of the video and audio and lock it together to move it along,, or add the titles and intro music separately?

Not exactly an answer to your question, but I'd suggest two options that could maybe help:

1) duplicate your project and add your titles and music to the copied project so if it get messed up, you can go back to the original

2) export your project and then import back into a new project and add what ever music and titles you need.

I'm sure someone else will offer a more detailed reply for locking all the elements on your time line so you can insert items at the beginning without missing up sync.

Hello John

thanks for your post.

Here is the procedure I think you should use:

Start by adding the title element (I'm assuming that this is a LumaFusion Title)
Place the title on the main track. This will have the effect of moving everything on the timeline down and keeping everything in sync.

You can make the title longer or shorter by trimming it.
Next, add you music

If you need to have music start before the title:

Start by following the procedure above, title on main track, then music.
Next, change the timeline mode to 'overwrite'
Make a scissor cut in the middle of the title
Delete the first half of the title from the timeline.
This will leave black space at the start of the timeline
Change the timeline back to insert mode
This will allow you to change the length of the black whilst keeping everything in the timeline in sync.

Hope this helps
