I was lucky enough to make hundreds of little travel videos in recent years and often the easiest way to find them now is to see them on a map.
Unfortunately I can't use the Photos app because the map view often shows meaningless thumbnails and because iCloud insists on offloading older videos so viewing is too slow. Consequently I keep my videos in the Files app in the on-device folder of the nPlayer app. They are named and dated in the title so it's easy enough to search but I still wanted to see them on a map because at times you want to see the ones nearby.
I've kind of solved this problem by plotting all the video names in a map app. I use MapOut because it has elegant terrain maps. I've made a folder of all my video places. They all show on the map as a star with the video name. If they are too crowded only one of them shows but you can tap on it to see the names of the others in the area.
Ideally I'd like to be able to open the video directly from the map but storing videos is not a map thing for some reason! Instead I use a shortcut to automate copying the video name and opening a search for it in the files app. When tapped there it starts playing in nPlayer.
A bit clunky but probably the best I can do. I'd be interested in other ideas.
