LumaFusion 1.7 is now available in the App Store. This update includes great new features like search and sort in the library, soft edges and curved corners in cropping, and our new integration with Storyblocks, a great royalty-free library of video, audio and sound effects. A sample of clips are included free, with a low-cost subscription available in-app for access to the full library

Please if there are any colorists here on the forum? Can you or anyone with great experience in color correcting share their workflow how to color correct footage captured by Filmic Pro using LumaFusion?
And maybe they can post their workflow on how they do that until LumaFusion 1.7 are released, so we get a fully updated workflow?
Im think it would he helpful to have all the steps involved and in which order. What to do first and such.

I would really appreciate this. :)

Maybe its not important that the footage is captured in Filmic Pro, but whats most important is the steps involved in LumaFusion, to make the best
color correction possible.

Generally I’m only interested in making scenes look natural and rarely use LUTs or filters.
Because every clip is different (mainly because of lighting) I have a very simple “by eye” workflow. I use the LF editor on any clip that doesn’t match its neighbours. I use the levels slider to lighten/darken and stretch the points to adjust contrast. This is quick and usually all that is necessary. Sometimes I change the saturation and might boost the shadows or adjust the hue.
I’ll copy and paste my adjustments to any other clips taken from the same position.
Hope this helps.
