All,

This is a tutorial I posted that shows a straight forward way to slant text and make it look as if it was using the Italic Type. Works with any font whether it supports Italics or not.
The same method works for slanting shapes or picture elements in titles.
The degree of slanting can be key-framed, creating an animation that can be saved as a motion preset.
