Hi.
Is it possible to disable the second video track?
For sound, you can completely remove the volume, but for the video there is no way to hide it for a while.

I would like to know this, too.

I doubt there is a layer's toggle (like in Procreate), but that would be cool.

No way to do it - yet

This is strange. It seems that this is a simple and basic function of any video editor.

I'm not a developer

I bet it's not 'that' simple

But the main reason will be is that the list of other things to do will take preference

That's not to say that I wouldn't occasionally find it a useful feature

Sometimes you need to remove a fragment or several fragments from the timeline. For complex installation, this option is not enough.
I hope that the developers are working on this

This would be so helpfull! You could use a videotrack dedicated to ‘park’ clips for later use. It would make sorting clips much easier.

For example.
I have a long file, in which there are several necessary fragments. I select them from the file and place them on the disabled video. At any time, I can use them in the right place. This is much more convenient than saving them to separate files and importing into a timeline

Why can’t you go to the second video track click on the editor go to volume and reduce it to zero?

I found a possible way to do it. Not sure if its answering what you want, but I was making a movie, and was unsure if some of the clips should be there or not. But I didn't want to delete them from the project because of the amount of clips I had to search thru.

I ended up dragging the clip, or part of the clip, down to the audio track just to place it somewhere to be found later, and I`m pretty sure - if I'm not mixing my memories ... that I just dragged it back up to the video track if I wanted it into the movie again..

It might be worth a try..
