To be able to resuse clips from other projets by simply multi selecting and then copy paste from one project to another would ultimately do my day.

I like using this app for my video editing but this is the only thing stopping me to use it more often as it is a tedious work having to look for and import all the media all over again every time.

That being said, the app is not that old and the speed of updates coming out is great so can´t complain. Keep up the good work!

Yes agree this would be a useful addition to the already near as perfect video app for IOS.

If it helps i have clips like intro’s held on a WD mycloud in the home and import some from here to get around areas.

What is the status of this feature? (selecting multiple clips for pasting effects etc.) When can we expect it?

Hi jar temp,

Knobby Dave might shed some light in this area.

Regards Rob

Other than ‘its high on the list’ there is no predicted time scale for this

It is a feature that is not being tested yet but is a much requested one

Too bad that there is no time-scedule for this feature. My current workaround is to export main track to a new file and import that again to another project. Then I can apply filters to that "clip", for example speech eq and compression. This is possible since export is so fast. Anyway it narrows the speed advantage compared to my desktop PC editing with DaVinci Resolve where you can select many clips for applying effects etc.. And consumes extra space.

May I suggest couple of smaller, perhaps easier to implement, additions which would make Luma editing faster.
1. Add "paste" button.
2. Add "next clip" button in effects window.

Would you add any newer features to the "Attributes Clipboard"

Regards Rob

Rob.
At the moment I can't think of other new features to the "Attributes Clipboard". But I think about it.
I just want separate "paste button" in timeline and clip effects window.

Of course adjustment layer for the whole track would be nice. That would reduce the whole copy paste business a lot.
Example: lot of clips in one track shot with same camera with flat profile. It would be nice to add contrast to the whole track. Same with audio, add compression, limiter and some treble for the whole track.

Just chewing the fat here, thinking out loud.

If on a desk top environment to alter a entire clips say back in late 90's

I would use mpeg Streamclip, edit, export in mpeg Streamclip.
Before I bring in the contents to be chopped up in final cut.

I kind of still do this method, with Luma FX.

This not help you in copy paste areas that you written about.
If it helps I am happy to record screen and show you the basics of luma fx.

Regards Rob
