In this short video, I demonstrate how I use an SD Card Adapter to transfer media from my digital camera to my iPad.

This really gets my digital camera media available in LumaFusion quickly and easily. Especially when I have lots of large video files.

Excellent video, was just about to order one of the card readers.

Do you know if you can import audio files from SD Card, e.g. files from an audio recorder?

No. These camera card adapters can only import content that was captured by digital cameras.

For audio, I find the best way to get files into LumaFusion is to upload your audio files to a file sharing cloud service (iCloud Drive, Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.) and then import into LumaFusion.

Thanks. I'm looking for a mobile solution without needing to use a laptop. I use a Zoom H1 to record audio seperately and need to find a way to get the audio file onto my iPad to add to my edit in LumaFusion.

So far its looking like a wireless travel router with an SD card slot may be the way forward, but I haven't found anyone who has tried this yet.

Ready the excellent LumaFusion manual, it looks like I could connect to a networked device that is Windows SMB capable. Therefore using something like this:

http://amzn.eu/d/iVVSwai

would allow me to plug in my SD card with .wav files, and then import into my LumaFusion project.
