Hello Marco1976

AC3 audio is surround sound. In the version of LumaFusion you are using, surround sound isn't supported. So you won't hear sound or see an audio waveform on the clip.

We are about to release a patch for 1.3 which amongst other things will handle surround sound as stereo audio. That release will be out very soon. The other issue is that clips with surround sound won't export. This problem is fixed in the upcoming patch release too.

Hello Marco1976

where is this audio coming from (the AC3 audio)? Is this audio coming from a camera or an audio recorder of some sort? Let me know

Yes, we are working on a solution for MTS files.

Hello androu,

The file is comming from an camcorder. Panasonic sd800.
This camcorder wil produce MTS files.

Om my mac i rewrap the MTS container in to an MOV container.
So I don't need converting the original file and quality from my camcorder.
The audio is stereo AC3 format.

When I rewrap my MTS file to MOV with audio converter, everything is working. I will convert
The audio to ACC.

Better is that I do'nt need to rewrap my original MTS file. So I don't need to have an computer with
Windows or OSX.

When I am on holiday I only have my iPad and my camcorder.

Regards,

Marco

P.s. sorry for my English, i'am from Holland.

Hi all,
Unfortunately, AC3 is not a supported codec on iOS (this is independent of it being surround or stereo - LumaFusion will properly import surround audio now, but only in AAC codec). AC3 is an older DVD audio codec that is not supported by iOS. When converting video to MP4, you should select either AAC or PCM for the audio codec (or if possible capture with one of those codecs on your camera).
