Hello

I am looking for a way to work around a problem I am facing. Normally I'd say that precomposing would help, but LumaFusion does not provide that option.

In Detail:

What I want to do is this: https://vimeo.com/512880724/3893970e09 (it starts at around 1min, the problem I am facing in LF is at 1:30)

I converted the Transition Prores4444 file to HEVC with transparency. The Alpha channel is there and I can see this in LumaFusion.

It looks to me that the effect would work the same way like in the FCPX tutorial. Only problem is that an alpha stencil stencils through all clips beneath it. So I see only black in those stenciled areas. What I need is to only stencil one clip underneath so I can see the video on Layer 1.

Maybe more experienced people here have an idea how I could tackle that problem. Thanks in advance!

See if this helps:

You'll need to do an additional conversion, making the transparent are white, and a second render, but you'll end up having the same effect.
