Wow you replied quickly! Thank you so much!
And the reason I'm asking is because I might start making videos in the future, and knowing how to change the way in which audio clips are heard to match the environment in which they are being played, could come in handy.
For example, I saw this one video of RobHK Vlogs editing a music track. The accompanying video showed a top view of a beach. When the video zoomed in to show the underwater view of the ocean, the music was edited to transition to how you would normally hear above-water sound if you yourself were submerged underwater. This was a tutorial on how to achieve that, however
I don't just want to know what to do to make these effects; I also want to understand why they work the way they do so that I know how I can fine tune them(excuse the pun XD ) to suite my own needs as well.
Here is the video that I was talking about:

It doesn't help that I only know how to create the effects limited to what tutorials are available out there for people like me; I would like to better understand how to create those, as well as my own effects, myself.
And I was hoping if the effects that I mentioned (including the "muffled" effect example used earlier)
can be made into presets set by you so that we don't have to make them ourselves (or are limited to those who know more about audio)?
eg presets like "Muffled," which use the "low-pass" filter explained in the video with the adjustments already added for you to work off of; the same as what you did with the visual presets.
Below are visual representations of what I'm talking about. I'm sorry that they're so messy; I edited these screenshots on my iPhone 6 (too small for me lol.)
