I'm getting this error when opening project archives larger than 4GB in LumaFusion. I've tried compleatly wiping and restoring my iPad Pro 2018 and still getting the same issue. Has anyone had issues like this before? is there any work arounds to get access to the project?

Hi koreysmith123

Welcome to the forum

Where are your projects being imported from?

Hi! So far I've tried importing directly from a folder on my iPad under "On My iPad", from an SSD, and also from Airdrop. Each time produces the same results as long as the project archive is around 5GB or more.

Can you contact the developers (address at top of page) and they will work with you

Yep, I contacted them yesterday. I was just hoping maybe someone already went through this and solved it. Since it's Saturday I'm assuming I'll have to wait till Monday before they are back in the office to reply.

Hi, I’ve had this issue and in my instance it was corruption when saving the project to a SSD.

LumaFusion noted some issues on their website when archiving to a file system other than APFS.

Not sure if it’s an Apple thing or not, it was some time ago and to be honest I thought it would have been resolved by now.

I spent many hours trying to resolve the problem and I found the only time I had the error was when I saved the archive to SSD. If I saved locally either on the device or network storage via Wi-fi, it worked fine.

If you still have the project, try archiving locally and restoring it to eliminate any application issues.

Glenn.

Thanks Glenn, that's good info

(I'm hearing it's fixed in 14.2)
