Hello guys,

I like Lumafusion but unfortunately I find that it lacks easy ways to create nice looking text animations or text effects (I would like some simple and clean animations like the ones you can find within https://promo.com/templates)... as a result I end up very frequently creating animated text / text effects in other iOS app supporting a green screen export and then importing it in Lumafusion.

I mostly use Hype Text (https://apps.apple.com/us/app/hype-text ... 1375906080), it's okaish but a) you don't really control on how many rows your text will be split and b) not all text effects are "green screen friendly" (they'll blur once imported in Luma, except the ones where the letters have a white background).

I've heard good things about Legend for iOS unfortunately it's not available in my country (maybe it's only available in the US, not sure).

Typorama is a bit going overboard just for simple text animations...

What are some other good iOS apps that you like for text effects?

Thanks a lot,

Stock app (Keynote) is the answer for the moment.

Are you using it the same way I use Hype Text : create your text animation in Keynote on a green background -> export as video (not sure how you do that on Keynote, maybe you need to screencast the animation??) -> then import the animated text in Luma and remove the BG ?

Or what is the workflow like with Keynote?

Thanks!!

I noticed that the operation of the chrome key in lumafusion was not as precise as in the imovie but it’s ok for now, so this is the steps :
