Have cleared all cache settings, as well as iPad file locations for lumafusion. There are ZERO files being shown in the app and on the ipad and yet luma still shows 69 gigs of data being used under general/iPad storage. I have followed the faq for this and done everything. I have rebooted the iPad. No difference. I am afraid to even start another project because it will then be another 70 gigs being used that can’t be deleted.

Hi Shatnershairpiece

Welcome to the forum

Do you have any projects that reference any of the media?

If you do, you will need to delete the projects from the start screen before you can delete the media

Otherwise, use the 'Files' app

Look 'On My iThing'
Look in 'LumaFusion' and you will have several directories
Look in 'LibraryMedia'

No projects. Nothing under ‘files’ or ‘imported’ in luma. And everything under ‘files/on my iPad/lumafusion’ is empty, other than a folder with luma presets. The only place I can see any files is ‘photos’ on luma which shows everything in my iPad.

Have you deleted the files in Recently Deleted in the Files app? Deleting in LumaFusion or the Files app doesn’t truly delete -it just moves them to the Recently Deleted folder. iOS will fully delete them automatically when it needs the space or after 30 days. Meanwhile they will still be credited to LumaFusion’s memory usage.
In practice you don’t really need to worry about this apparent memory usage. If iOS needs the space it will fully remove as many of the deleted files as it needs to (starting with the oldest). Meanwhile they are there just in case you change your mind and want to “undelete” one.

Yes, deleted from recently deleted. The only thing that worked was doing a iOS update. After that, the 70 gigs disappeared from lumafusion. Strange that reboot did nothing.
