Hi...

I’m continually getting the following error when trying to export a LumaFusion project package:

Error uploading movie
Error domain SpryMediaConverter
Code -105
(2.1.1.1054)

Once I tap OK, the error continues to pop back up several times. I’m using LumaFusion 2.1.1.1054 (as shown in the error code) on my iPadPro (2018) which is running iPad OS 13.2.2 and has 116GB of free space on it currently. Before anyone asks, I’ve killed the app, restarted, etc. and also tried creating an optimized copy of the project and am still receiving the same error.

Any help or insight would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks!

Hi beerdedcrafter

How did you create an optimised copy of the project please?

What is the footage taken on?

Does this help:

Thanks for the response!

I selected the project in the project selector and then tapped the little filter/“Y” icon between the Copy and Trash icons at the bottom of the screen. LumaFusion then did its thing and went through and optimized/copied all media, etc., creating a separate project with “opt” at the end of the name. I get the same error when trying to export a project package from the optimized version as well.

The footage is 4K video shot on a Sony a6300 camera. It’s the same format and device as literally hundreds of other clips and projects I’ve created and I’ve never had this issue before.

The info at the link you posted is definitely good to know, but doesn’t really apply here because I’m not trying to export a movie. That I can do fine. It’s when I try to export the project package with either full or trimmed media that everything craps out. That error seems to pop multiple times and, while I haven’t counted to be sure, may be popping up the number of times that corresponds to the number of clips I have in the project.

Really bizarre stuff and never happened until the most recent LumaFusion update.

I’m not sure I was clear in my original post, so adding this for additional context: This happens when trying to export a project package for ANY project in my library. It’s not specific to a particular video/project.

Hi beerdedcrafter

I kinda knew that was what you had done, but just checked first

This is one for the developers

Can you contact them directly using https://luma-touch.com/support and the contact link at the top right of the page

I suggest you include a link to this thread

Let us know how you get on

I'm in the same boat, but this only happens to me when I try to export trimmed media.

Hi alexpagnoni

Sorry you're having trouble too

How short is your shortest clip?

Support had me install a beta version through TestFlight to see if that worked. Sadly, it didn’t, but I’ve been intentionally crashing things so LumaTouch can review the logs. They’ve been super responsive and are working on this. No solve yet, but just know that they’re on it and hope to have a solution soon.
