Rainer,

I have commented on your other post, please take a look and see if it helps.
For info, I have successfully imported a project > 16gb.

Regards, Glenn.

I meant, first export such a project as .spryzip to external drive, then reimport it.
First rename the file to .zip and try to extract the file. If this works rename again to .spryzip and try the reimport.

Re rename to .zip;
I think this will be difficult to achieve on the device alone.
It seems Apple makes it difficult to rename the extension directly on the I device.
I have done this but had to export the file to an external drive and then use third party app to rename the extension and then finally copy it back to the device.
I must admit I haven’t tried to rename a spryzip to zip and extract it to see what files are in the compressed file.
I might just give it a go.

Glenn.

Renaming only on external device or Mac.
Storing for later use as project with all original files is the right way,
but if there is a bug and I delete the files on iPad and I cannot reimport them, sh*t.

The renaming to .zip is only a control to check that the file is not corrupt.
The project file is a standard zipfile.

Rainer

I’ve noticed that LF no longer has the option to creat a Project Archive as it was originally called, now it’s create a LF Project Package and indeed the resultant filename has the extension .lfpackage. Pretty sure it will be a standard zip, but if you open it, it launches LF and doesn’t allow the package to be decompressed like a standard zip file.
