Hi, to clean the storage of my iPad Pro, I have exported a project (16 GB) with original files onto an external SSD. Then I have deleted the project and the media files on iPad.

Now I wanted to import the project from the SSD again to LF. Don't know how - but the import in the project section is not possible. The zip file is shown, but there is no button to import the file.

In files app on the iPad I have clicked the file on my SSD, the import starts and ends after some seconds with the error message:

Error extracting project archive. Make sure there is plenty of available space on your device.
(2.0.4.1030).

The free space on my iPad is over 200 GB.

What is here the problem?

Rainer

Hi Tripstrilles

Full ios13 support is not here yet

There is a small update due soon that may help

In the meantime can you copy the archive to your iThing and open it from there?
You shouldn’t have to do that, but let us know if it works

No chance.
I have copied the archive on my iPad in Luma Fusion in a new folder.
Then I have started the import. After 100 %, the same error occured.

Rainer

Edit:

And now it is my problem - I have deleted all original files to save space, because I thought that if I Export the project file with all original files, I have always the solution, to import them all in future again into Luma Fusion. But now - I cannot open the archive with my original videos.

Hi Rainer

You went about it the correct way.

If you still have the archived project with media then support may be able to help you

contact them at support@luma-touch.com with a link to this thread

They may ask you to upload your archived project and will send you a link if needed

Let us know how you get on

Just posted this topic to support team.

What I just have found:

After the buggy import out of the folder on iPad, I have found the zipped project file in the UserMedia/Icoud Drive folder.

Tested again with 2 GB file and it worked.
Now I test it again with the large file.

No chance - same like in post above. File is stored in UserMedia/iCloud Drive and error message.

Tested again with the small project (2 GB). Worked.

After an export of a large project file with original media, there is no possibility to import a large project again.

There is always the same error message.

So pay attention to do this workflow at time.

Rainer

Nothing new, I am testing again since hours. It will take time.
I am in contact with the service team.
