Resolve has the ability to import XML from Final Cut. I would hope that an export from LumaFusion to Final Cut would be in a format comparable to that exported from Final Cut (bi-directional). It will be interesting to see if it 'just works'...

So it's almost the end of the year and still no XML for FCPX... When you guys say soon you seem to be talking in a different dimension.

It’s in the late stages of testing

Better to release it working than broken

Since I asked just over a year ago... I just purchased the XML export feature for Luma Fusion on a 'risk' basis and tried it with DaVinci Resolve 17b6 and it works quite well, actually. I only tested it with straight cuts and a few default transitions - I didn't try any color grading or other effects in Luma Fusion other than speed (the clips in Luma Fusion were shot at 120 fps and slowed down to 25% and this actually came through to Resolve).

I'll continue to do a few tests and report in a separate thread. As it stands and with likely limitations, it's useful for me.

Cheers
