Thanks everybody, getting one of those cables now and try out setting changes.

EDIT
Quote:
I airdrop 4k60 videos between my iPhone and IPad all the time with no loss in quality. It may have to do with the setting “Keep Originals” setting for “Transfer to Mac or PC” in the settings > General > Photos area.

I also save to files this way with no loss in quality.
Changed the setting but still bakes the in/out points for slow motion in permanently. Does it work for you with slow motion intact?

I’ll try this Spigen cable first:

The Spigen cable from Lightning (iPhone) to USB-C (iPad Pro) worked great.

It says Made for iPhone | iPad | iPod. Maybe all cables with this label will work.

Just had to connenct, hit Allow on each device and could import from iPhone to iPad. Btw, not sure if it could work the other way round, from iPad to iPhone.

Make sure not to simultaneously have several Apps open that can import.

The in/out handles for slow motion are preserved after the video has been transferred from iPhone to iPad.
