LumaFusion 2.0 is now available in the App Store. This is a massive new update that doubles the number of tracks for video and audio, streamlines the user interface, and much more.

I am going to be starting to edit a lot of media on iPad Pro.
Currently on the iPad Pro there is no native media, it will just have access to all my media on Apple iCloud Photo Library.
From LumaFusion I pick apple cloud as source and download what I want. That would go into Lumafusion import folder?
How about media that at some points would be pulled from my camera roll, is that also downloaded into a folder within Lumafusion? I don’t think so as I have deleted items from camera roll then when opening project, I received error that media was missing.
If I wanted to backup my projects to have access to edit or add things to them in the future what would be the best practice?

If u go into Files there is a Lumafusion folder.
Do we just need to figure out a way to get that folder backed up to maybe a WiFi enabled external hard drive? Would that also have the source media or only media that was imported and not retrieved from camera roll.
Or after each project should we export project including full or edited source files the best way to back up everything.

Thanks for the clarification.

Hi ToNeG!!

https://luma-touch.com/wp-content/uploa ... -Guide.pdf

See page 10 onwards for clarification of project archiving

I use my Synology NAS and a WD Portable drive for my data (hoping to get a Gnarbox2 when it is finally released)

Thank You for that information.
In the files application I see project backups. That basically shows all my projects and has 3 backups of each project per my settings. Guessing the highest numbered one is the newest backup.

I also see a projects folder and within that there is one file, Lumafusion. Is that the settings of application or something that u set?

You can set the number of backups (default is 3)

LF creates the projects folder

If you ‘update’ LF the projects folder and projects remain intact

If you delete and reinstall LF you will lose your projects folder
