LumaFusion 1.7 is now available in the App Store. This update includes great new features like search and sort in the library, soft edges and curved corners in cropping, and our new integration with Storyblocks, a great royalty-free library of video, audio and sound effects. A sample of clips are included free, with a low-cost subscription available in-app for access to the full library

I'm a first-time user of LumaFusion on iOS. I recently edited a 200MB iPhone video using the LumaFusion app. The edits were simple--modifying the audio file and distorting some of the sound. The final/exported file was almost 800MB.

Is there a simple way to keep the properties of the exported file the same, so that the file size of the exported file stays more or less the same as the original file (so, in my case, the exported file would have been about 200MB instead of 800MB).

Thanks in advance.

Hi Boukman

Welcome to the forum

When you export a file LF does not automatically default to all the same settings as the media you have imported into your project

You need to set the resolution, frame rate, and bitrate of the output file under 'Movie Settings' before you save the file

This will all have a bearing on the output file size
