LumaFusion 2.0 is now available in the App Store. This is a massive new update that doubles the number of tracks for video and audio, streamlines the user interface, and much more.

Adobe Audition is a really amazing piece of kit. You can’t do much with video, besides scrubbing and playback, but the tools are a really nice compromise for video editors who are inexperienced with audio, or too intimidated to learn a DAW. (That isn’t criticism, the learning curve is steep in most of them)

I would like to see LF consider a companion, (like LumaFx) for audio production, that supports AUV3.

This would mean, misbehaving AUV3 won’t crash LF, but MAY crash the new Audio editor. (User beware)

What I am saying is, build a companion program that integrates finished audio into LF seamlessly and unfinished audio from LF into the companion program seamlessly. Much like the behaviour of Premiere and Audition. Audio Fx done in Audition automatically get updated in Premier, and likewise.

This way, LF doesn’t need all of these ridiculous audio functions to improve, that can be put aside to the LF Audio Editor. (Which I would pay extra for).
Also, audio engineers and iPad musicians like myself would ALSO have a cool new DAW to play with, that does functions none of the other current DAWS do, like Batch Processing, or tagging.

Thoughts?

My thoughts

Good ideas

Not so easy to implement with limited resourses
