I have some footage that I just want to use as silent b-roll. The background is very noisy. I triple tapped to separate the audio to another track then deleted the audio. The problem is that there are short bursts of audio right where the new clip begins. I don’t want to silence the track because I am using the audio on other clips. Is there any way around this?

This also seems to be an issue if you are ducking the audio. For example, if you want to run footage mostly as silent b-roll, but every so often bring up the volume to catch a verbal phrase or sound effect (door closing, punch, etc.). What happens is that if there is some noise at the beginning of the clip, it will trigger the ducking. For this project I am going to just separate all the audio onto a separate track and mute the b-roll video track, but it is a bug and should be fixed.

Yeah it was a common issue until v 1.4 and they fixed it but with v 1.7 I realised this error came back, true. No work around yet...
