LumaFusion 1.7 is now available in the App Store. This update includes great new features like search and sort in the library, soft edges and curved corners in cropping, and our new integration with Storyblocks, a great royalty-free library of video, audio and sound effects. A sample of clips are included free, with a low-cost subscription available in-app for access to the full library

It was definitely the codec and Luma Fusion not being able to keep up th stuff encoded that way. I started again with the original clips and everything is back to normal. Transitions, cuts...everything is smooth again! I just have to do my color correction without any scopes or histograms. I am so used to doing videos that are projected in theaters and AV screens and you just can’t get the legal color ranges right without some kind of scope, but in this case, the video will just be looked at online so it will probably be fine.

Luma crew, if you’re listening: we need some sort of histogram or scope! Legal range for video color is 16-235 and I’m flying blind in the highlights and the shadows without it! Yeah, it looks ok on the iPad screen, but as soon as you project it in a theater or an AV screen stuff that isn’t legal looks horrible!
