Hi, Luna-Folks --

I'm working on an edit and find myself having difficulty rotating layers and elements precisely. You've implemented precision movement for all of the functions by press-and-hold on the slider line to the left or right of the current placement, which increments or decrements the value, but this does not work on the rotary control for rotation. There's no way to precisely rotate an object to a specific angle without holding my breath, rolling my finger a tiny bit, and hoping that when I let go, the value doesn't change (which it does, basically every time).

The best solution for this (and, frankly, the any of the controls that are handled with sliders or rotary knobs) would be to allow us to tap or double tap the number value and then enter a value manually with a pop-up keypad. That way, if I want to rotate an object to, say, 27.3 degrees, and then need to rotate a second layer (or item in the titler, or whatever) to 27.3 degrees, I can just type in the value. Or if I want the twist effect (or any other that has an "angle" value) to match between two layers, I can just enter the value manually.

Please consider adding this feature!

Thanks, as always, for an amazingly powerful app!

Dex

Hi Dex

Yeah, I agree that would be a good idea

I believe numeric input has been requested by quite a few and it 'is on the list' (I know I've requested it)

(Doesn't do any harm to keep reminding Chris though ;) )

Thank you for posting this Dex! I could not agree with you more. I've been meaning to post about this myself as the inability to get a precise rotation to a specific angle with the rotary control drives me absolutely bonkers. And it's a grand waste of what is often my limited and valuable time when editing a video in the field, on the go, away from home.

I'm commenting here as an ''upvote'' in the hope that your feature request will get more visibility and that it will eventually, sooner rather than later, be implemented to the benefit of us all.

Cheers! :)
