LumaFusion 1.7 is now available in the App Store. This update includes great new features like search and sort in the library, soft edges and curved corners in cropping, and our new integration with Storyblocks, a great royalty-free library of video, audio and sound effects. A sample of clips are included free, with a low-cost subscription available in-app for access to the full library

Hello jojogun,

I'm sorry that you're dealing with this issue and sorry for the delayed response.

I believe you have a password set on your WD. For LumaFusion version 1.6.6 you'll need to turn off the password via the admin from your browser, in order to connect to it:

Steps:
- Make sure you're connected to your WD
- Go to your browser
- Type in your sign in info (if you have a password set)
- Type in your search bar: 192.168.60.1
- Go to the Admin Tab
- Turn Settings Password: OFF
- Close LumaFusion, then re-open
- You should be able to connect your WD from the Sources Panel now.

Our developers have fixed this for LumaFusion 1.6.7, which recently launched. This will allow you to use your WD with or without the password on.

Let me know what you experience in 1.6.7

I definitely want to get this resolved for you.

Best,

Keith Woodard II

Hi, thanks for the reply. The pass word was already set to off. I have downloaded the new version of lumafusion and now when I click on the Public folder it crashes Lumafusion every time. Have restarted iPad Pro, wd my passport wireless drive etc, but still crashes Lumafusion when I click on wd Public folder. Does it need to be the wireless pro drive?....as I am only using wd my passport wireless. I have read you can use the wireless, wireless pro and wireless ssd.

I know you said you downloaded the latest version but

What version of the app are you using?
What version of IOS are you using?
I know you said the password was already set to off but did you follow Keith's suggestion anyway?

I can confirm that the non ssd wireless pro works fine and so does my Synology NAS (here)

Here is what I see: (for some reason the first picture is second)

Yeah, everything was up to date. I just don’t think it works with my passport wireless like it says. I bought the wireless pro and it works ok. Not great as it lags a lot, but it works. Good idea.... if it worked properly. :?

Hi KonLat

Have you done what Keith suggested? (Even though you say you have not set a password)

Steps:
- Make sure you're connected to your WD
- Go to your browser
- Type in your sign in info (if you have a password set)
- Type in your search bar: 192.168.60.1
- Go to the Admin Tab
- Turn Settings Password: OFF
- Close LumaFusion, then re-open
- You should be able to connect your WD from the Sources Panel now.

Our developers have fixed this for LumaFusion 1.6.7, which recently launched. This will allow you to use your WD with or without the password on.

Let me know what you experience in 1.6.7

I was wondering if WD is using something else than SMB.

I would also like to use my Synology NAS or my Intenso Wireless Drive.

I can use them for imports but would like to keep the files there and also the references from the clips to the files.

So what have you done that your Synology NAS works.

Hi DRAKS

The guy can’t get into his WD Drive at all

I can only use my Synology NAS for whole clips or project backups and other than enabling SMB in settings I haven’t done anything to it
