Hi,

I have a .mp4 or .mov footage and I get for both a warning informing me they are not compatible with IOS and may result in crashes.

Both are normal compressed in a normal h264 format I presume, coming from a drone DJI Phantom 4 pro.
resolution is 4k, 48 fps.

all data of the footage are here under. Do you know what may be wrong?

After having imported them in Lumafusion, when trying to increase the speed I get lags when displaying them (without having exported them so far). do you know if this could be related to the footage format?
What must then be the best settings?

Please find all data of the footage here under.

Hi Etienne

Welcome to the forum

Thanks for the detailed info about the footage

What device are you using?

Also LF works in 'real time' until it's time to output your file so it can 'appear to struggle' on some devices

What do you have your 'Preview' option set to under 'Global Settings' ? - try 'Fastest'

Hi Knobbydave,

Thank you for the answer.

I use an ipad pro, 512 Mb, all IOS upgrades made.

I set the settings to fastest already. May be this is due to the size of the foitages that appears to be close to 3GB sometimes.

I am more preoccupied by the warning I have on all footages taken with the drone, as i plan to come se it fir businesses and i would like to prevent having troubles later.
Do you know what could explain them? Is there something I have to change? Or any risk of not been able toexport a film at the end?

Hi Etienne

I have a Phantom P3S which only goes up to 2.7k (yeah it's an odd size and I can't afford a Mavic or P4) but I quite often edit 3 - 4 gb files from that with no problems on a 256gb iPad Pro

Can you confirm that the project renders out alright (it should do)

And I know this sounds daft, but it sometimes works, have you tried restarting your iPad?

@Etienne Just curious, what iOS app are you using to get such detailed information on your video files?

Hi Etienne

Do you have your project frame rate set the same as the footage?
