iOS' Files program is not the best for us...
At $4.99, this File Manager Pro is just awesome - highly recommended:

Here is one example I just used last week (involving Luma)...
We took a family trip to Orlando via plane (without Wifi). So I went to Luma's YouTube Tutorial's channel here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9X6g5Fy ... T19jWZplPZ
And used PwnYouTube's bookmarklet to quickly download each vid to my MacBook Pro:
http://deturl.com
I moved all of the videos into a new folder named: Luma
Then I control+clicked the Luma folder to bring up Share->AirDrop. I selected each iPhone and bam - transfer is done in about 90 seconds. On the iPhone, I choose "File Manager" and it stores in the Local Files section. (By the way, the transfer is much faster on my iPad Pro 12.9.)
On the iPhone, I opened File Manager Pro and boom - the Luma folder had all 37 tutorials. Click on any of the videos and bam - it plays on the spot.
To copy any file into Luma with File Manager Pro, select the [Edit] button (in the top right-hand corner), select a file, then choose the [Open in] option (bottom of the screen). The files will be saved in the filemanagerpro section of "imported".
At this point, we can use the Files app to create new subfolders, rename, delete, etc.
