LumaFusion 1.7 is now available in the App Store. This update includes great new features like search and sort in the library, soft edges and curved corners in cropping, and our new integration with Storyblocks, a great royalty-free library of video, audio and sound effects. A sample of clips are included free, with a low-cost subscription available in-app for access to the full library

I just ordered the second generation of Gnarbox off the Kickstarter site. I am one of those pro video guys that is trying to wean myself off my laptop and this looks like the only really practical way to deal with any sort of quantity of footage.

I also have a 4 TB WD MyPassport drive and while I will continue to use it, once I get the Gnarbox, I expect it will just be used for archiving and restoring projects. It is nowhere near as convenient as a work drive.

Expected delivery is January of next year.

It looks like the WD drives now have this functionality. Is there any advantage left to the Gnarbox?

Hello you do not mention or i cannot see,

“It looks like WD now has this functionality “ what is the functionality you have noticed please ?

The Gen 2 version of Gnarbox your know more than I, once you have Gen 2 Gnarbox, do let us all know and hows and whys, work flow etc.

I think re software update your no longer need to have the tablet held portrait it can be also landscape held to see the app Gnarbox.

2nd Gen Gnarbox i hear will be able to transfer bigger files.

What else do you know about the next gen of Gnarbox ?

Regards Rob
