I have been editing a project for a few months but have not used Luma for at least 3 weeks due to life.

Everything was fine the last time I used it. Nothing wacky.

Today, I did the 1.6.2 update and now all my pictures are wacky. Even though supposedly this update was supposed to fix said issues that I DID NOT have before I updated.

Here are the issues:
Any screen shot I have taken, whether it's something from online or even a screen shot of one of my own photos ends up being squished vertically and NONE of my edits (like resizing and removing white edges and tabs) are reflected. The same thing for my own photos that I edit right on my ipad. So basically, the only photos I can use are original, un-edited versions. Not good.

What's up?

I got the same issue today. I ended up removing the picture in question and adding it again.
Not sure if this will help the Luma-Touch dev team, but cloning the problematic picture, apparently cloned the issue as well. Only completely removing the picture and adding it again solved the problem.

I have tried deleting and reloading the pictures in question...but it doesnt fix the problem for me. I even tried downloading LumaFusion on another device to see if my ipad was the prblem. Nope. Same thing happened on the other device.

I forgot to mention:
a) I deleted the picture.
b) Closed LumaFusion from the multitasking cards view.
c) Reopened LumaFusion and added the picture again.

In7ermaster - Sadly, I did exactly what you have said and many more things. The only thing that is working for me is editing in Avery and using that version of my photos in Luma.

So maybe it is an issue with iOS photos???
