LumaFusion 1.7 is now available in the App Store. This update includes great new features like search and sort in the library, soft edges and curved corners in cropping, and our new integration with Storyblocks, a great royalty-free library of video, audio and sound effects. A sample of clips are included free, with a low-cost subscription available in-app for access to the full library

I am stymied at the moment... is it really true that I can't record a clip of video using my built in iPad camera using LumaFusion? Every editing app I've used in the past allows this type of action. It must be here but hidden... I hope.

Hi Jack

Are you saying you want to be able to take video while you are in/using LumaFusion?

If that's the case, the reason you can't is it is a video editing program

The built in camera app and things like FilmicPro etc are used to make/record your clips

It's not a feature that has been requested on here ... so am I right is that what you need?

Hi Dave,

Yes, I was looking for a way to record a quick video within Lumafusion. It's a feature I was used to seeing in iMovie and some other apps but I'll adjust how I do things.

Luma responded to me yesterday via Twitter and also suggested using the same apps for recording clips.

I use the built in iOS app (cos I’m lazy) but when I’ve got time to think about shooting video on my phone (which seems to be more and more) I like to use FilmicPro
