LumaFusion 1.7 is now available in the App Store. This update includes great new features like search and sort in the library, soft edges and curved corners in cropping, and our new integration with Storyblocks, a great royalty-free library of video, audio and sound effects. A sample of clips are included free, with a low-cost subscription available in-app for access to the full library

One thing that I feel this app is missing is being able to input exactly when to start and end a section of a clip. Yes I know that there are start and end markers that can be placed within a video to signify where to start trimming a clip and where to end trimming that clip. The only two alternatives are to play the video around your starting area and wait for the exact moment of the frame and place the start and end markers, or slowly scrub through the video then start it around the area that you wish to start trimming or cutting and wait for the exact moment of the frame and place the start and end markers. Which in my opinion is very tidous and time consuming. I understand that this app makes great use of the touch screen capabilities while not only allowing the user to have full control over their editing process but, this small feature is something that I can’t find on any other app and I’ve barely ever seen it on desktop video editing software. In my opinion this feature would be great for those users who import long videos and want trim or cut them down faster.

Thank you all for taking the time to read this.

Doug,

Have you tried using the swipe-left and swipe-right on the preview window when trimming a clip from the library? You will see a "+1" and "-1" , which is going frame by frame, when you swipe to the frame you want to cut at, you can press the Mark-in or Mark-out button.

Let me know if this is what you are looking for.
