I must be missing something but can’t figure out how to get a long title to scroll like movie credits. I typed it all up but when I go to add motion to it it only displays the portion of the title that was visible on the screen. I can’t seem to use key frames to scroll it. How do I go about making a scrolling title?

You won’t be able to get the title to scroll, I had the same problem. I’m making a tutorial on how to do scrolling credits on LumaFusion. Keep a look out.

Hello Diverds

Unfortunately we don't have that functionality in LumaFusion.
It is in our database as a feature request.

Depending on the complexity of what you want to do there is a workaround of a sort.

Look through the attached document that describes how to make a crawling title. You can adapt this method to create a scrolling title sequence too.

Great tutorial, Kevin!

I’ve done what Kevin describes in his tutorial before, though didn’t pre-render the credit video. When exporting from Inkpad (or whatever app you prefer that can export a .PNG file with transparency), you can bring that credit list image into LumaFusion and superimpose the credits over moving video, if you like. (Prerendering from LF can’t export video with an alpha channel because iOS can’t handle video with alpha.)

You can use LumaFusion’s tools to adjust the color of the titles you create in your still graphics app, too.
