Hi LumaTouch Forumers! My name is lambs4eva, and I'm planning on producing a podcast along with a friend of mine's, however the room we plan to film it in has a bit of an echo, is there any way to reduce background noise, I use LumaFX, and I was looking in on this topic, but could not see a clear answer. Please respond ASAP!

Hello lambs4eva

If the room you are working in has a lot of echo (or reverb), then the best thing to do would be to put some carpet on the floor and other soft fabric furnishings, sofa, curtains etc..
Both echo and reverb occur because sound bounces off the hard surfaces, if you can reduce the amount of hard surface, then you will have better sound.
You will find that this is the best way to eliminate these issues. Way better than any filter.

Ask for Audiounit support. I use some AU plugins like Brusfri to remove noise. Works amazing for my music and video audio hum noise from mic

I had thought that I’d read that there is AU support in LumaFusion. Is that the case? If not, I hope that this can be added. Some of the basic plug-ins are okay. The compressor is strangely labeled, has no visual monitoring graphs, and is merely serviceable.

Also, I see no way of changing effect order such as moving HPF before compressor, etc.
