When I attempt to import an archived project that has been stored on Google Drive in a spryzip file, I am able to download approximately 63 mb of a file that is at least 6 times that large. On 2 separate projects, the download gets stuck at about 60 mb. Any ideas?

Hi bobje

How much free space have you got on your iThing?

Good question. I’m currently using 10 gb of a 32 gb iPad.

Mmmmm .... 'might' be space (you can never have too much)

How big is your spryzip file?

You will need enough space to get the file in, then enough room for it to unzip (I think - I'm not a developer) and then some space to 'jiggle all the bits around'

How do you get on if you just export/import a small file?

Dave,
I am able to export LumaFusion files of 700 mb or so to Google Drive. I have not been able to re-import any of them back into LumaFusion, on one iPhone 8, a new iPad, and a 4-year-old iPad. I tried a short 30 second project of about 200 mb, and it was not able to re-import either.
Thank you for your help with diagnosis.

Mmmmm wonder if it's a 'Google Drive' thing ?? You should have enough room for the 200mb project at the very least

I think I've still got a login for Google Drive, I will try it when I get chance

Can you try any other cloud services? I've had success with Dropbox in the past although I can't see why Google Drive should be any different

Dave,
An experiment with Dropbox worked perfectly. I wasn’t able to get iCloud or Google Drive to work, but Dropbox succeeds. Will give OneDrive from Microsoft a shot tomorrow. Thank you.

Hi !

A gave a try to iCloud for a very small (60Mo) project. It failed.
But it worked using Airdrop from a 6s to a mini 4.

The challenge I've had with spryzip is after the file is already stored in the cloud. I am able to upload to iCloud and Google Drive and Dropbox. But only Dropbox has been able to give me back the file and enable me to download it.

Ooops, I should read messages more carefully !

What app did you use to upload and to download the file ?
Do you have enough free space on your GDrive/iCloud Drive ?
