Hello. New user, and trying to completely change my workflow from 27" iMac, to iPad Pro 12.9 + Luma Fusion and Affinity Photo. I am documenting the whole thing on my website and YouTube channel. I am a straight up audio editor. I edit by audio waves, so when I am doing this, and I make a cut, the cut area is then replaced with a new placeholder image. I really don't need to see those, since I have them in the window just above. It would be nice to be able to shut those off so that I can ONLY see audio waves. That way, I can cut out all the blank spots. This is one option, or you could add audio scrubbing, which would also help, however I feel that just making the placeholder images not show on the video clips would be easier development wise.

Anyway, SO excited about this app. My first day with it was a huge success. My only challenge is going to be file storage, but I think Google Drive is going to work out just fine for that.

Thanks so much in advance!

Hi David

Welcome to the forum

There are a lot of changes and additions to the audio features in upcoming releases

I can see the benefits of your suggestion

Chris, Terri, Androu - maybe a 'toggle' in the settings page?

.. the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few ... or the one

Hello geekslife

Great idea, I thought this was in our database already, but I couldn't find it, so I added it to feature requests.
