Hello,

There is an option to edit clips in the photos app using other programs such as iMovie. In my case I'm using VideoGrade (can't wait to see your new upcoming color correction features). When you do this inside photos, it generates a duplicate clip but that clip takes the place of the original so all you see is the color corrected clip. Other programs such as adobe clip and pinnacle studio see and retrieve this corrected clip but luma touch imports only the original.

I hope his makes sense, please let me know if you need more clarification.

Mike

Hello Mner

Yes, I understand what you are writing about.

The reason that we don't use the color corrected clip is because of iOS slow motion clips. If we set the software 'flag' to use the 'updated' video clips from Photos (which includes the slow motion clips as well as the color corrected clips from VideoGrade), then you won't have the control of slow motion that is currently available in our app (we were not thinking about VideoGrade when we did this).

I think this is a good design choice for slow motion but not for VideoGraded clips.

So, I'm going to add a feature request to see if we can't get our app to distinguish VideoGraded clips from iOS slow motion clips. That would make life better I think

regards

Androu Morgan
