LumaFusion 1.7 is now available in the App Store. This update includes great new features like search and sort in the library, soft edges and curved corners in cropping, and our new integration with Storyblocks, a great royalty-free library of video, audio and sound effects. A sample of clips are included free, with a low-cost subscription available in-app for access to the full library

Hello ByronSanto

Would you describe the workflow for what you mean.

Imported folders are already archived by their nature, coming as they do from places like dropbox, or via iMazing / iExplorer from another hard drive somewhere .

Androu

I had about 5 hours to kill this morning. I had to bring my wife's car to the repair shop. I figured this would be a good time to test. I have about 17 Imported video clips in my iPhone that I've been experimenting with and I wanted to get them on my iPad Pro. I could not figure out how to get them in my iPad. I could not connect to my Mac because I was doing a disk image backup.

Hello ByronSanto

I see. Good use of time.

I have never tried to do it so I just googled this:

'connect an iphone to an ipad'

Here is the link that seems useful: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K3HHPEQvsH0

It describes how to connect an iPhone and an iPad wirelessly.

Give it a go and let us know

That video describes how to connect a wifi iOS device to a cell iOS device by turning on the cell iOS device hot spot feature. I still cannot copy my imported folder from my iPhone to my iPad. I do that all the time.

Maybe an AirDrop feature on the imported folder might be a good idea. I'm just thinking out of the box. LOL…

Hello Byron

Yes, you would think Apple would provide something useful like that. It's for sure the first thing I thought of (airdrop).

:D

We of course didn't think of the use case of being at the garage for a few hours without wifi.

Anyone on the forum got any ideas?

I have a SanDisk lighting flash drive. Could I copy the files to that?

Hello Byron

Well, I'm going to say no. And then I'm hoping someone will prove me wrong.

The reason I say know is that, the imported media folder is part of the LumaFusion App.
The sandisk device you refer too only accesses the Photos app folder.
If your video clips were in the photos app folder, then perhaps you could do it.

FYI, FilMic Pro has that feature. Maybe something to consider.

How many options are there to get the files out of the imported folder? I have not looked at it with iTunes File Transfer.

For the last few years, I've used Transfer from the iOS App Store to move video/photos from one iOS device to the other using either wifi (or Bluetooth if you aren't on wifi).
