I've not found a way to do this in Lumafusion so I'm assuming it is not currently possible but it would be great to be able to mask a portion of a video as per the example below:

Overlaying one video clip directly on top of another but masking the left half of the top video so the left of the bottom video shows.
You could shoot the same scene from a fixed POV but have different takes with an actor in each half of the frame and effectively great a composite output of the same scene but with both actors in the scene.


There are plenty of overlaying options such as PIP, dragging one video half way over the other etc. but none that allow you to match up the same scene and just show specific regions of a frame.
