LumaFusion 1.7 is now available in the App Store. This update includes great new features like search and sort in the library, soft edges and curved corners in cropping, and our new integration with Storyblocks, a great royalty-free library of video, audio and sound effects. A sample of clips are included free, with a low-cost subscription available in-app for access to the full library

I couldn't find a discussion about this, so hope it's not a dupe but... Any possibility of .fcpxml export to bring cuts into FCP X. That would be very nice. :-) Thanks, great app by the way!

Hi geekco,
FCP XML export (we'll export a package with xml and media that can be opened in FCP/Premiere) is coming. There may be an extra charge for this feature (most features we add will be part of free updates).

So it will be the old FCP 6 version of XML, not the FCP X .fcpxml version :-(

I guess I'll just put in my vote to support the new .fcpxml version. It can transfer color data, and a boatload more info then the old version. So you could import to Resolve or FCP X with color correction intact etc. To go to Pr you could always use XtoCC from Intelligent assistance.

Hello.

When is the FCP XML project archive option going to be in the app?

Robb

To make it truly Pro you would think that an export option to other software would be essential. I love Lumafusion. Great for the rough edit but then I want it in Premiere when I get home (I heard Terri Morgan say in an interview that she only now edits on Lumafusion, but I think that would be rare). I would think that I am not the only one. :) When I initially tried iMovie, I was hoping to be able to do that but of course, apple being apple this was not a priority. But iMovie is not considered pro. Please start the testing of this capability and get it out there as an extra charge or whatever.

I think you would find that most editors will want this feature - they just don't have the time to get on forums to ask!
