Any chance of adding the familiar razor blade slice option?

I do a lot of slicing, and the two finger method I find unnatural as my hands are naturally rotated inward when working on the ipad...

Hi ecoyne,

Tapping on the scissors does do the same as the two finger tap. If you only want one track split, then select the clip first. I would have to check on the swipe to split option that iMovie has. We are very careful not to borrow their functionality as everything unique can be patented and it's not worth sparing with Apple.

This is embarrassing... I never thought to hit thescissors, as I thought it implied Cut, not split!

This helps significantly, thank you thank you!

Hurray! New things for 2 people!

Here's a hidden one... Did you know that if you hold down the jump to cut button under the preview you can advance frame-by-frame?

Good tip! I was actually going to ask for a frame by frame arrow buttons but that works too

You can also swipe left and right in the preview to go frame-by-frame. I forgot to mention that :-)
