Hello,

Really enjoying leaning and trying out all the features and capabilities of LumaFusion.

Trying (so far unsuccessfully) to a create a title with the text animation as in the video below.

Wondering if this isn't (possibly?) fully implemented yet (or I'm just not doing it right).

Thanks!

Hi rom21

Welcome to the forum

I don't know if this is how it was done, but this is how I would do it (I'm sure there will be an easier way)

I'm only using 2 tracks but you can use 3

I would put my 'still' title on track 1

I would then put my text on track 2 and use 'fit and frame' on track 2 in conjunction with keyframes and opacity changes to provide the animation

Hope that helps/makes sense :)

Ya, all that makes sense that it can be done that way.

Was kinda hoping that animation was controlled within the title creation part of the app, thus only needing 1 track and being also able to save the title (with animation) as a preset.

When I'm editing titles, don't see the items circled in yellow on my screen (see attached screen shot).

Thanks.

I'd really like this capability, and/or the capability to compose animations with imported objects. I realize I'm asking for compositing, like AfterEffect, but desktop NLEs typically have this capability (albeit much less feature-rich than AE).

I haven't yet bought LumaFX. Is this something I can do in that app?

Hello all

rom291: the screen grab looks like you are using an older version of the app. If i remember correctly, the buttons you have circled in yellow would allow you to create a text style preset and a title preset. I would recommend installing the latest version of the app.

MarcosDeManantial: No, LumaFX isn't a compositing tool. It behaves exactly the same way as the FX functions in LumaFusion

We will be working on title layer animation and having that in the app.

Oh I see, that's a screen grab from our countdown videos - so that would be an older version

:D

Yes, I should have maybe been descriptive in my original post. Thought maybe I was missing some hidden controls when the UI in count down video didn't match what I was seeing in the purchased app version.

Very much looking forward to that!
