I’m having a similar issue as OP connecting to my Synology NAS...
After the login prompt after choosing the device name, I get an error message:
I believe it, too, to be an SMB version incompatibility between SMBv2+ and LumaFusion. For the longest time, I typically used FileBrowser to download media onto my iPad locally first and then imported the media into LumaFusion. When I saw wireless device support available in LumaFusion a while back, I got all excited since I could then bypass the FileBrowser transfer step. But then I soon realized it wouldn’t work due to SMB version incompatibility since I am using v2.
Do you know if LumaFusion will support SMBv2 in the future? Microsoft and US-CERT has provided guidance that administrators consider moving away from using v1 at the service level.

I keep checking in LumaFusion to see if v2 support was added in a subsequent release, but no love thus far... 8-)
PS: great work on developing such an exceptional product for iOS!
