LumaFusion 1.7 is now available in the App Store. This update includes great new features like search and sort in the library, soft edges and curved corners in cropping, and our new integration with Storyblocks, a great royalty-free library of video, audio and sound effects. A sample of clips are included free, with a low-cost subscription available in-app for access to the full library

I’ve noticed when I playback a clip, whether in the browser or the timeline, there is about a half second delay before I actually hear the audio. This lag in response to playback is disconcerting when trying to find an exact “in” point. Is there a fix for this? It gets frustrating at times.

Try setting the preview speed to ‘fastest’ and see if that helps (under global settings)

Thanks for the suggestion, Knobbydave. Unfortunately my Global settings were already set at Fastest. So that’s not the solution. Any other ideas? ;)

Er, nothing except the obvious

Have you tried shutting down and restarting your iThing (rather than just closing apps)?

What version of the app are you using?

You have to consolidate your music.
1 picture before
2 picture consolidated
This shoud solve your problem.

I’m running the latest version 1.6.7 on a brand new 10.5 in 256 gb iPad Pro. I’ll try rpgvoyage’s suggestion to consolidate and see how that goes. Thanks to both of you for the help.

Try the "View new posts" for a list of recent additions. Works whether or not there are any that are "unread". - AL in Indy

I also had some serious problems with syncing audio to the footage. Audio/video would de-sync and the final exported render was not very precise. Not perhaps a problem ordinarily, but if you're trying to make e.g. a music video frame perfect syncing is needed to get the result needed.
Fastest etc. didn't seem to make any difference there. Just read about the consolidation option here and will try that the next time I edit.
(iPad Pro 10.5 and editing 4K material on two video tracks with a separate MP3-audio track)

So, are music in the .m4a format the best for music tracks in Lumafusion. So, one might not need to consolidate at all..?
