LumaFusion 1.7 is now available in the App Store. This update includes great new features like search and sort in the library, soft edges and curved corners in cropping, and our new integration with Storyblocks, a great royalty-free library of video, audio and sound effects. A sample of clips are included free, with a low-cost subscription available in-app for access to the full library

Hi,

In order to use my footage as much as I can, I'd have a question for the developers:

What is the luminance range that LF is using as a read-in?
Can I use the full 0-255 range of my camera or do I have to limit it to the video (broadcast-safe) 16-235 (Rec709) ?

As most of my videos are web oriented, 0-255 is not a problem at all and it gives me this extra bit of head-room for post-processing.

Concerning 10 bits files, are timelines created in 8 or 10 bits ?

Thanks a lot.

Hi Nomadikt

I'm not a developer and cannot answer your question I'm afraid. However to get an answer, the best way would have been as per the banner at the top

'For answers to frequently asked questions and to contact us directly, please use our support page at https://luma-touch.com/support.'

We will help as much as we can via the forum but we don't have all the inside info

However, I have forwarded your request to the developers so we should hopefully get an answer soon

Sorry for having asked my question at the wrong place.
And thanks for your answer.
