Hi all, if i shoot a video in filmic pro in 4k 24fps, should i export the end result video in lumafusion in 24fps also or in 30fps?

Hello Karady

You should export the video at 24 unless you have a requirement to output at another fps, then you should do that. For example, if you are providing your video to a television station, they may have certain requirements for fps. But if you are just uploading to Youtube or Vimeo, then you should be fine with 24.

Anybody else got any thoughts?

Yes, I agree with you Androu

Pick a frame rate that ideally matches the frame rate of the original clips or a whole multiple if one is available

Otherwise the app (or other program for that matter) will be trying to add or drop frames which can result in 'Jerkyvision'

I agree, but a 24p to export to 30p looks fine. There are six doubled frames per second and the motion still looks very smooth. If you are mixing 24p and 30p, always export to 30p.

I'm not disagreeing with what you're saying as such but try that with a fast moving item or drone shot
