I have a Sony FDR x3000 action cam, a 10.5" ipad pro, and 128GB SDXC micro SD card.

I want to use the ipad pro for video editing; however, the ipad only has 40gb available space. If my project is larger than that how do I edit the video on my ipad? Is it possible to connect an micro SD card reader to the iPad Pro and work directly off the SD card?

Hi sibaroochi

No it isn't possible to do what you are trying :(

Remember too as a rule of thumb you need roughly double the space on your iThing before doing your final render - although you can render to some external devices

You could, although it is not ideal, back your iThing up, delete apps etc to make space, perform and render your edit and then restore your iThing

That would work, but personally I wouldn't like the messing around
